Halloween Funtimes

So, me and my friends are all huge nerds.  One of our more recent obsessions has been the film "Pacific Rim" and so a bunch of us decided that this year we were going to dress up as characters from the movie, however we added a twist.  Given my friend Ethan's and my visually creative disposition, instead of simply copying an existing character group, we invented our own.  For those not familiar with the movie, one of the primary elements of the universe is the existence of these giant fighting robots called Jaegers which are piloted by 2 people who share a unique ability to link minds and think as a singular unit.  Ethan and I played the parts of the pilots while my girlfriend, Jill, took on the role of our jaeger, which we named Archimedes Tangent.  Anyway, just for fun, here are our final costumes as well as the sketches of Archimedes Tangent as we imagined it after the jump.

Aside from Pacific Rim, something I'd like to promote is Ethan's blog, The Figure in Question, where he is currently in the process of reviewing every piece of his extensive action figure collection. It's quite an interesting read even for those not into collecting.
