No Scoped

Here's my very first attempt at a full character animation.  I wanted to keep the character as simple as possible so I could focus more on getting the motion right.  It is all straight-ahead animation, no rotoscope was involved.

Dinosaurs, Yay!

Everyone loves dinosaurs.  That's why I made these cycle animations of a dinosaur (generic theropod) walking and running.  Retrospectively, I think I could do the run cycle a little better, but hey, not bad for a first attempt at an actual cycle that isn't a stick figure.

And We're Back

It was only a matter of time before I had something else to show off.  In this case, I actually have 3 things.  Fairly similar but the difference is in the animation as opposed to the actual drawn content itself.  I realize I've already done a rolling, bouncing ball animation but just bear with me.  I'm rather proud of my second, third, and fourth balls.

2 for 1 Special

Got 2 videos this time since I forgot to upload my last project to here.  First is a quick little line drawing animation showing a walk cycle, nothing terribly fancy but it turned out well.  Second is my attempt to lip sync animation with an audio file, in this case a clip from "Neglected Space" by Imogen Heap.  I was planning on using a longer clip but if theres one thing I know, it's that animation always takes way longer than you expect, so I had to trim the audio to fit my time constraints.  But anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Rotoscoped Skyrim

For those of you not familiar with video games, Skyrim is one that features my favorite animal of all time and that would be a dragon.  I took the liberty of rotoscoping some footage of a dragon for your viewing pleasure.

Lego Animation

This is a stop-motion animation I created about a year ago and only recently thought to put up on YouTube for people's viewing pleasure.  I'm very proud of it.  There are over a thousand frames, each was shot one by one.

Paper Cave

I have another video here, slightly more impressive than the last one.  I made it using construction paper cutouts.  Check it out if you like, if not, then what are you doing on my blog?.... Kinda creepy, just saying.

Stop Motion Ball

This is a stop motion animation I did using paper cutouts that I drew on.  It's not much but it does the trick.  Simple, elegant, classy.

Well hello there.

This is my blog.  I don't particularly like telling people about myself but here I am.  This will mostly be a space for me to display pieces of artwork I am working on, but I will try to supplement it with fitting text.
