I Can Say I'm a Professional Now

It's happening again.  Up and coming author Emily Bentz asked me to do another cover for her newest book, titled "The Distressing Damsels."  It is a sequel so if you are interested in reading it and haven't read the previous installment, pick up both.  The books as well as other fun stuff can be found on her blog.  Anyway, here's the finished artwork.

While this and the previous covers were both created on my iPad, this was drawn in the ProCreate app whereas the other was made using Paper by 53.  Just in case anyone is curious about the change in quality.

Additionally, if any other authors out there are interested in custom cover art images for their books, you can now contact me at storymarron@gmail.com.

Chopper-motion

Ok, ok, I know I've not had a lot to show lately.  Having a proper job does that to you, but I promise I have some stuff on the way.  To prove it, not only do I have something for you today, but it's an animation no less.  Similar in style to the big Lego Hero Factory video but much more casual.   Anyway, enjoy.

I will say, I did learn something during this shoot that I've been trying to figure out for ages, that is, how to make something look like it's spinning quickly without looking like it's just wiggling back and forth.
